Synopsis
For the last fifteen years, Rex Welche has been
singing his songs in any rock club that will have him. Always more of a
critical darling than a chart topper, Rex has struggled lately to maintain an
audience and his energy. Too many nights on the road, too many women with names
he can't remember, too many half-empty clubs finally catch up with him one night
before a concert. It's left to his tour manager, J.D., and his opening act, the
up-and-coming Patty Danville, to do whatever it takes to force him onto the
stage. Rex doesn't want to let down the several hundred waiting fans, but it
becomes a monumental struggle for him just to leave the safety of The Green
Room...
